Behind the shot: how a Showcase shoot runs

A Showcase package covers listing photos, aerial shots and a walkthrough video. Here's how it all fits into one visit of about two hours.

1. Walk the property

I start with a quick walk round with the vendor or agent: which rooms matter most, which doors stay open, where pets and people will be.

2. Exteriors and aerial first

While the light is right outside, I shoot the front and rear exteriors, then fly the Mini 4 Pro for the plot, garden and street views. It also gives the vendor time to finish the last bits of tidying indoors.

3. Interior photos

Room by room with the mirrorless camera on a tripod, taking several exposures of each view so both the room and the view out of the window look right.

4. The walkthrough

Last, a smooth walk through the home on the Osmo Pocket 3, in the order a buyer would see it on a viewing. I finish with a vertical cut for social media.

5. Delivery

Within 48–72 hours, the agent or vendor gets one download link: photos sized for the portals, the walkthrough video, and the social cut, all named by address.
